Joann Cubbison, CHAIRMAN
Its time to start thinking Swiss Festival National Rally. Come join us for a fun filled rally. Park at Winklepleck Grove just outside Sugarcreek for a long week of fun filled excitement and interesting things to do. This is the oldest National Rally being held and people still keep coming back year after year. Where else can you get so much for the price. You will be provided with water, electric, nightly entertainment and a wide choice of tours. Visit the many gift, antique, furniture and craft shops, and enjoy a delicious home cooked Amish dinner at a nearby restaurant.
A day in the park will feature a hobby show, golf tournament at the 18 hole course adjacent to the park, Amish homemade Putt Putt ice cream, and our famous ham and bean supper cooked over an open fire. Enjoy fresh popped popcorn all day. Then on Friday and Saturday shuttle buses will take you downtown Sugarcreek to the Swiss Festival festivities.
The area of Sugarcreek, Ohio is located in the beautiful hills of Tuscarawas County, 8 miles west of Dover and 18 miles east of Millersburg on scenic Rout 39, west of I-77. It is a farming community, populated largly by Amish people.
