2007 Swiss Festival National Rally Photo Album

For 45 straight years the Swiss Festival Rally has visited the Warther Carving Museum in Dover, Ohio as one of the activities. The family and Airstream members gathered for a picture this year. A pair of Airstream visitors to the Warther Museum are fascinated by the plier tree, which was carved by Ernest “Mooney” Warther from one block of wood, using 31,000 cuts. A total of 511 inter-connected working pliers make up the tree.
This was the welcome that greeted the 254 Airstream trailers and motorhomes when they arrived at Winklepleck Park outside Sugarcreek, Ohio for the 45th annual WBCCI Swiss Festival National Rally.
Master of Ceremonies Karl Koontz kept the evening program informative and lively with his humorous banter.
The evening entertainment throughout the Swiss Festival Rally was excellent and often involved participation by the Airstreamers. Fred Bennett from Columbia City, Ind., president of the Fort Wayne Unit, was a hit when he joined One-A-Chord on stage during its performance.
The white farm houses and fences that dot the landscape around Sugarcreek, Ohio provide a serene setting for the Swiss Festival National Rally.
Joann Cubbison served as chairman of the Swiss Festival National Rally for the year 2007.
